The Greenbush Race Park had the Pure Stock rules meeting 12/17/2016 with a good turnout of drivers. With an open discussion about the rules on whether to change anything, it was unanimous decision from the drivers the rules will stay the same except for the tread depth being changed from .218 to .230 maximum.
Greenbush Race Park follows WISSOTA sanctioning general and safety rules. WISSOTA promoters voted to make 2010 Snell approved helmets and fire retardant gloves mandatory for the ...2017 race season. With the safety rules drivers are reminded to check the dates on their seat belts. They can be no older than 3 years.
A discussion was brought up about drivers racing in the Byfuglien memorial race. It was decided that any driver that wants to come and race the Byfuglien memorial race must come race one regular race before they will be allowed to race for the full purse of the Donnie Byfuglien memorial. Any driver that holds a sanctioned license from an upper class will not qualify to race this event.
We will be working on updating the rules and posting them on the website shortly.
ATTN Drivers!!! Please check back frequently for updates to either this website or our Facebook page. Speednet will no longer be used by WISSOTA sanctioned tracks. MyRacePass purchased it from them last year. The new software is web based. We are working closely with the developers to make it easier for drivers and scoring and timing track officials. This will not impact any current equipment you as drivers are already currently required to use already. MyRacePass does have a lot of marketing tools available for drivers but not required. We are asking to get the word out to drivers to enter their personal info and any sponsorships you would like named at this link http://www.myracepass.com. It will be a transition for all but we are hopeful and confident it will be a good move for our organization. MyRacePass is currently being used at tracks across the country and was used at the Chili Bowl. I'm sure you all will have a lot of questions and we will have more info available for you after Feb. 6th. Please do not wait until your first race to create your Driver Profile. Openers are chaotic enough so the more help from you, the more help we can give back. Thanks
WISSOTA Drivers you will still need to purchase your license from Wissota.
